Exciting news from the Cleo&Hooman family!
We're super excited to welcome Dr. Richard Jiménez, VMD, PhD, to our Advisory Board. He's a powerhouse in veterinary science and molecular biology, and we can't wait to see the magic he brings to our team and community.
Dr. Jiménez hails from sunny Southern California and has an incredible story in the world of veterinary medicine and research. After earning his VMD from the University of Pennsylvania's School of Veterinary Medicine, he went on to get a PhD in Cell and Molecular Biology from the same university. His doctoral research? It's all about the cool stuff – reprogramming mammalian development using assisted reproductive technology (ART).
Post-grad, Dr. Jiménez did some amazing work at the National Zoological Park’s Conservation Biology Institute, focusing on reproductive biology and animal health. His educational journey started at the University of California, Irvine, where he bagged a Bachelor of Science with honors in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry.
Now, he's sharing his knowledge as a full-time faculty member, inspiring future generations in genetics, physiology, and anatomy. His deep expertise is going to be a game-changer for Cleo&Hooman, steering us towards innovative and scientifically sound pet care solutions.
When he's not in the lab or teaching, Dr. Jiménez is all about the outdoors. You might find him hanging out at the dog beach with his French Bulldog, Paco, hiking in San Diego, or jogging in Balboa Park. His love for animals shines through in everything he does, making him a perfect fit for Cleo&Hooman.
Let's give a warm welcome to Dr. Richard Jiménez! We're stoked for the insights and expertise he's going to bring to the table, enhancing the lives of our beloved pets and their humans.
